Kamelot Trondheim Torg

Så var endelig HELGEN og Trondheim Rock Fest her. Og i går var det bandet jeg var mest spent på. Kamelot - med norske Roy Kahn i spissen. Ville de være gode live? Ville de oppfylle forventningene mine. Jeg må si - absolutt - det var en kjempebra konsert.

Finally, the WEEKEND and Trondheim Rockfest is here. And yesterday, the band i was mot excited to see playing. Kamelot - with the norwegian vocalist Roy Kahn. The questions was: Are they a live-band? (Good) Would the forefill my expectations?? I have to say - absolutely - it was a great concert.

Etter min mening, den absolutt beste og desidert største opplevelsen denne kvelden. Mange Dimmu Borgir - fan vil vel si seg uenig. Kamelot har den tunge bassen i bunnen som slår inn i kroppen mens du står der å digger, samtidig som de har en melodiøs og absolutt lyttbar metal-sound. Og toppet med Roy Kahn's fantastiske stemme. Man kan nesten ikke få det bedre. Jeg kommer definitivt til å se Kamelot live igjen.

On my opinion, the absolute best and greatest experience last evening. Dimmu Borgir-fan may differ in opinion. Kamelot got this deep base as a foundation, you can feel it hit your body while you are feeling the music, and at the same time the melodic and absolutely easylistening metal sound. Only topped with Roy Kahn's fantastic voice. It can hardly get better. I will most definate see Kamelot live again.

Det var visstnok fotoforbud og videoforbud, men ingen stoppet oss fra å ta bilder og det var det mange som gjorde.

It was not allowed to take pictures or video, but no-one stopped us from shooting and there was also a lot of others taking pictures.

Så kom Dimmu Borgir - ikke helt min smak men vi holdt da ut ca halve konserten før vi forlot arenaen.

Then Dimmu Borgir showed up on Stage - not my cup of tea, I have to admin, but we stayed for half the concert before we left the arenaen.
