17. Mai og Grand Prix / 17th.of May and Eurovision song contest

Så var 17. Mai over for denne gang, og vi har feiret som vanlig med å dra ned til byen for å se på opptogene. Også i år sammen med svigerforeldre, Bjørn og Tommy.
Jeg er veldig glad Tommy kom hjem for å være smamen med oss.
The celebration of our independent day, is over. And as usual we went down to the city to look at the parades, also this year with out "in laws", Bjørn and Tommy.
I am so happy Tommy decided to come home to be with us.

Dagen var nydelig, godt og varmt og sol, kaffe, kaker og opptog. Som det skal være på 17. Mai. Jeg slipper i hvertfall all isen og ballongene nå. Den lille gutten min har blitt stor.
It was a beautiful day, warm and sunny, coffee, cakes and parades. As it should be on the 17. May. At least I do not have to by tons of ice-cream and balloons anymore. My little boy is all grown up now.

Ellers så bestod helgen av Melodi Grand Prix, hvor Norge og Alexander Rybak vant med stor margin. Morsomt selvsagt, men nå blir vi jo ikke kvitt "I', in love...with a fairytaaaaale, even though it huuuuuuuuurts" på lenge.

Besides this the weekend contained of course the Eurovision Song Contest Finale, where Norway and Alexander Rybak won on knockout. Of course it is fun and all that, but now there is now chance we are getting rid of "I', in love...with a fairytaaaaale, even though it huuuuuuuuurts" in a long time.
