Jeg må bare innrømme det, jeg har en forkjærlighet for gitarister, og når jeg tenker meg om så har jeg hatt det lenge, tror faktisk det startet da jeg var 13 og forelsket meg i en gitarist. Siden da har gitarmusikk alltid gitt meg det lille ekstra.

I have to admit, I have always had a thing for guitar-players, and when I think about it, I have for a long time. I believe it started when I was 13 and fell in love with at guitar-player. Since then guitars has given me that little sting.

Min store helt Gary Moore gikk nylig bort til min store sorg, og jeg tenkte at jeg aldri kom til å finne noen så bra, men så kom Joe Bonamassa min vei, og jeg har fått en ny helt. Og WOW, for en helt. Men det finnes også mange andre gode kjente gitarister. Her i Norge har vi avdøde Marius Muller, fantastisk musiker, og ikke minst Ronni Le Tekrø, som er å finne på top 10-lista av verdens beste kult-gitarister. Marcus Paus er en av de raskeste i verden.
My great hero Gary Moore passed away recently to my great sorrow and I though that I would never find a new hero, but then Joe Bonamassa came along, and I have a brand new hero. And WOW what a hero. But there is a lot of other good and famous gitarists as well. Here in Norway we have the late Marium Muller, a fantastik musician, and of course Ronni Le Tekro, who is on the top 10 list of the best cult-gitarist in the world. And Marcus Paus, one of the fastest in the world.

Outside Norway there is alot of good and famous guitarist and I seem to fall for good guitar-solos all along the road. On you-tube you can fine a lot of the greatest soloes ever played. Click on the link below to see some of them.

Jeg har i det siste lest flere biografier, Keith Richards Life, Slash' book Slash, Nikki Sixx' Heroin Diaries, og blir fasinert av livet deres, men jeg er glad jeg bare leser om det, og vet at jeg kan høre musikken uten å oppleve alt det negative de har.
Lately I have read several biografies, Keith Richards Life, Slash' book Slash, Nikki Sixx's Heroin Diaries, and I get facinated by their lifes, but I am happy I just read about it, and know that I can experience the music without the negative sides.

Og dette var vel grunnen til at vi kjøpte billetter til å se Eric Clapton i Globen, Stockholm. Samt at her var også en mulighet til å se av de store gamle rockerne. Men jeg må si, at gitar-spillet og låtene var det beste med konserten, for showet var tamt og kjedelig og det var overhodet ikke noen form for interaksjon med publikum, annet enn et lite "thank you very much" mellom hver sang. Men fantastiske låter da :)
And I guess that is the reason why we bought tickets to see Eric Clapton at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm. In addition to another chance to see one of the great rockers of course. But I have to say, besides the guitar-riffs and the well-known songs, the concert was not that great. A bit boring and with no interaction with the crown what so ever, other than a "thank you very much" between every song. But great songs though :)
