In the middle of nowhere....

Kort innlegg uten bilder nå, er fremdeles elending dekning her ute i grissgrendte støk på Vestlandet.
Short one to day to, still out in the middle of nowhere on the westcoast.

Fredagen startet med at vi satte bilen på verksted, bremselampa fortalte at bremseskivene måtte skiftes, og vi tenkte at det kunne vi gjøre med en gang. Og det var virkelig nødvendig. Vi var i Sogndal og der var det et VW-verksted som kunne fikse dette fort.
Friday started with a secocnd visit to the workshop with the car. A warning lamp told us that it was time to change the break-pads, and we thought it was best done at once. And it was really needed. In Sogndal there was a VW-workshop that could do this straight away.

I mens dro vi opp til stallen for å ta en titt på hestene, var en kort tur innom Rikke for en kopp kaffe (Bjørn) og deretter gikk vi en runde i Sogndal. Der traff vi et par av Bjørns bekjente, stakk innom Torbjørns onkel, fikk et nytt par solbriller og et par god-bukser :-)
In the meantime we went up to the stables to look at the horses, stopped for a short while at Rikke's for a cup of coffee (Bjørn) before we strayed round in Sogndal. There we met a few of Bjørns acquaintances, had a short visit at Torbjørns uncle, I got a pair of sunglasses and a pair of feelgood pants.

Når bilen var ferdig dro vi videre til Lærdal (lunch) Aurland (Kort spasertur) og bestemte oss for å finne en plass å stoppe for dagen. Vi endte opp på Vossestølen Bed and Breakfast. Dyrt og ikke spesielt bra, men med en flott beliggenhet nede ved vannet. Vi fikk låne båt gratis og dro ut på vannet en tur med fiskestanga framme. Middagen var så som så, men vi ble da mette.
When the car was done we went to Lærdal (lunch), Aurland (Short walk) and decided then that
it was time to stop for the day. We ended up in Vossestølen Bed and Breakfast. Expensive and not especially good, mut with a good location down by the water. We got to borrow a boat (for free) and went out on the water for a while, with the fishing rod at hand. Dinner was so and so, but we got full.

I dag regner det, og det er meldt regn i mange dager, men vi satser på å komme oss til Bergen i dag, så tar vi resten av ferien derifra. Today it is raining, but we recon we will get to Bergen today, and plan the rest of our vacation from there.
